Bombay
potatoes recipe is a very tasty and easy to prepare side dish made with
boiled and peeled bombay potatoes and spice powders.Bombay potatoes can be served
with chapathi, phulka and also with rice.
The following ingredients are needed to prepare Bombay Potatoes Recipe.
Ingredients:-
Bombay potato. -300 gm
Cumin seeds. -1tsp
Turmeric powder. -1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder. -1tsp
Coriander powder.-1tbsp
Cumin powder. -1/2 tsp
Garam masala. -1/2 tsp
Amchur powder. -1tsp
Salt. -to taste
Cooking oil. -2 tbsp
Instructions:-
Wash
and boil bombay potatoes / baby potatoes in water with skin adding little salt. Once
cooled peel the outer skin of boiled bombay potatoes and keep aside.
Method:-
1). Heat 2tbsp cooking oil in a pan and splutter cumin seeds.

Lower the flame and add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, coriander
powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder into the pan and mix well.
3). Add boiled and peeled bombay potatoes and 1/2 tsp salt into the pan and toss the baby potatoes in spice powders.
4).
Add amchur powder into the pan and mix well. Saute the bombay potatoes
and cook on low flame till the spice powders nicely coated to the boiled
bombay potatoes. Switch off the flame.
5). Transfer the spice powders coated bombay potatoes into a serving bowl.
Very tasty and spicy Bombay Potatoes are ready to serve hot with chapathi, phulka and also with rice.
