Mint Coconut Chutney /Pudina Coconut chutney.




Mint Coconut chutney is a very tasty Mint leaves chutney made with  Coconut, roasted red chillies and Tamarind.Mint Coconut chutney is very simple, quick and easy to prepare and goes well with Dosa, Idli and also as a side dish with Rice.

The following ingredients are needed to prepare Mint Coconut Chutney.


Ingredients:-

Mint leaves.       -1/2 cup 
Coconut grated.  -1cup
Dry Red chillies. - 6 ( Kashmiri Red chilly)
Tamarind.            - a small gooseberry size
Salt.                      - to taste.

Method:-

Seperate the Mint leaves from its stem. Wash and clean the Mint leaves in Water and squeeze out the Water and keep aside.

Grind the Mint leaves along with grated Coconut, roasted red chillies, Tamarind and Salt to a smooth paste without adding Water.

Transfer the ground paste in a serving bowl.

Add 1tsp Coconut oil and mix well.

(Add little Water if needed to make a Chutney consistency.)

A very tasty and mouth watering Mint Coconut chutney is redy to serve as a side with Rice,Dosa, Idli etc.
