Brined Amla Groundnut Chutney (Brined Gooseberry Chutney)

Brined Amla Groundnut Chutney is a very tasty, healthy and delicious Konkani style side dish goes well with hot steamed Rice. Brine is a solution made of Salt and Water. The gooseberries are preserved in the Salt solution.They will remain good in the Brine solution for a long period. 

The following ingredients are needed to prepare healthy and delicious Amla Groundnut Chutney.

Ingredients:-

Brined Gooseberry. -2 large
Hing powder.          - a pinch 
Salt.                         - to taste
Groundnut               -2tbsp
Red chillies              - 3
Urad dal.                  -2tsp
Coriander seeds.      -2tsp
Oil.                           -1tsp

Instructions:-

Roast the Groundnuts, dry Red chillies, Urad dal and Coriander seeds in little oil on low flame and keep aside.

Remove the seeds from the brined Gooseberries and keep aside.

Method:-

Grind the roasted ingredients along with 2large Brined Gooseberries, a pinch of Hing powder and a pinch of Salt to a fine paste without adding Water.

Transfer the ground Brined Amla Groundnut chutney paste to a serving bowl.

A yummy and tasty Brined Amla Groundnut Chutney / Brined Gooseberry Chutney is ready to serve as a side dish with hot steamed Rice.
