Ghee roasted ripe banana is called Kele tuppa bajjille in Konkani. Ghee roasted banana slice is a simple and healthy snack made with ripe Nendran Banana (Kerala Banana).
The following ingredients are needed to prepare Ghee roasted Banana slices.
Ingredients:-
Ripe Nendran Banana. -2
Ghee. -2tsp
Sugar. -1/2tsp [optional]
Instructions & Method:-
1. Take 2 ripe Nendran Bananas / Kerala Bananas.
2. Peel the skin and chop the Banana into 1/4 inch thick and 1inch lengthy pieces.
3. Heat 2tsp Ghee in a non stick tawa and keep the chopped Banana slices on the hot tawa. Roast the Banana slices in Ghee till golden brown on low flame.
4. When one side is roasted well spread 1tsp Ghee on all sides of the Banana slices and flip the Banana slices to roast the other side till golden brown.
5. Remove from flame and transfer the Ghee roasted Banana to a serving plate.
6.Sprinkle little Sugar on the Ghee roasted Banana slices.[optional]
