Manga Arachukalaki is a curd based salted mango curry served as a side dish with rice.A very tasty and easy to make Manga Arachu Kalakki recipe is explained with step by step method and photos.
The following ingredients are needed to prepare Manga Arachu Kalakki.
Ingredients:-
Salted Mangoes. -2
Curd. -1 cup
Grated Coconut. -1 cup
Green chillies. -2
Cumin seeds. - 1/4tsp

Salt. - to taste
For Seasoning:-
Coconut oil. -1tsp
Mustard seeds. -1tsp
Dry Red chilly. -1
Cumin seeds. -1/4tsp
Curry leaves. -1spring
Instructions:-
1). Wash 2 Salted Mangoes, discard the seeds and chop into small pieces.

Coconut oil. -1tsp
Mustard seeds. -1tsp
Dry Red chilly. -1
Cumin seeds. -1/4tsp
Curry leaves. -1spring
Instructions:-
1). Wash 2 Salted Mangoes, discard the seeds and chop into small pieces.
2). Grind grated Coconut along with salted Mango pieces, Green chillies, Cumin seeds and Salt to a smooth paste adding very little water. Keep aside the Salted Mango Coconut paste.
3). Whisk the Curd adding very little water without lumps and keep aside.
Method:-
1). In a serving bowl add the whisked Curd.
2). Add the ground Salted Mango Coconut paste into the whisked Curd in the serving bowl.
3). Mix the Salted Mango Coconut paste with curd in the bowl using a spoon. Check for Salt and add little Salt if needed and mix well.
4). Heat Coconut oil in a small pan for seasoning and splutter Mustard seeds and Cumin seeds. Add broken dry Red chilly halves and Curry leaves. Fry in oil for a second and switch off the flame.
5). Pour the above seasoning into the Curry/ Manga Arachu Kalakki in the serving bowl and mix well with a spoon.
6). Manga Arachu Kalakki is ready to serve with rice.
