Milk Powder Peda is a sweet dish made with milk powder, sugar, desiccated coconut powder, water and ghee.
The following ingredients are needed to prepare Milk Powder Peda
Ingredients:-
Milk Powder. - 1cup
Sugar. - 3/4 cup
Water. - 1cup
Desiccated Coconut powder. -1/2cup
Ghee. - 2tbsp +1tsp
Instructions:-
Grease a steel plate with little ghee and keep aside.
Method:-
1). Heat 2tbsp of Ghee in a wide bottom steel pan and add 1cup of water into the pan and boil on low flame.
2). Add Sugar into the boiling water in the pan and stir well till the Sugar dissolve in water.
3). Add Milk powder into the pan and mix well. Keep on stirring the Milk powder Sugar mixture on low flame.Add desiccated coconut and mix well (optional).
4). When the mixture change its colour and become little thick, add little ghee. Stir well and switch off the flame.
5). Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and keep aside to cool.
6). When the mixture cooled to room temperature, apply little Ghee on your palm and make small round shaped milk pedas. Milk Powder Peda is ready to serve.
Note:-
1). You can store the Milk powder Pedas in the refrigerator for a week.
2). Instead of 1 cup of water, you can use 1 cup of boiled milk to make Milk powder Peda. Adding Desiccated coconut is optional.
