Gooseberry Juice


Gooseberry Juice also known as Amla Juice, Nellikka Juice is a healthy and refreshing drink.Indian gooseberry juice diluted with water can be consumed on empty stomach in the morning. You can take gooseberry juice at night also.Gooseberry is an excellent source of Vitamin C. Indian gooseberries helps to boost your immunity, metabolism, strengthens hair, promotes hair growth and also good for eye sight.

The following ingredients are needed to prepare Gooseberry Juice.

Ingredients:-

Raw Gooseberries. - 3 or 4 large
Green chilly .          - 1/2
Ginger.                    - 1/2 inch piece
Curry leaves.           - 4 leaves
Water.                      -1/4 cup
Salt.                         -1/4 tsp

Instructions:-

1). Wash raw gooseberries and chop into small pieces and discard the seeds.Keep aside.

2). Wash and wipe 1/2 of a green chilly and keep aside.

3). Peel, wash and chop ginger into small pieces and keep aside.

4). Wash and chop curry leaves and keep aside.

Method:-

2). Grind the chopped gooseberry pieces, green chilly piece, chopped ginger pieces, chopped curry leaves and 1/4 tsp salt in a mixer grinder to a fine paste.

2). Add 1/4 cup of water and grind again for a minute.


3). Transfer the ground gooseberry juice mixture to a bowl.

4). Sieve and collect the gooseberry juice in a serving glass. Discard the residue.

5). Add ice cubes in the gooseberry juice and enjoy the refreshing and healthy juice. You can store the gooseberry juice in the refrigerator.
