Boiled Sweet Potatoes


Sweet potato is a root vegetable. Boiled sweet potatoes are healthier, highly nutritious, rich in vitamin A, rich in fiber which lowers cholesterol and good for weight loss.

The following ingredients are needed to prepare Boiled Sweet Potatoes.

Ingredients:-

Sweet Potato.-250 gm
Water.            -as required
Salt.               -to taste

Instruction:-

Wash sweet potatoes thoroughly in water and remove the clay and dust from it.

Method:-

1). In a wide bottom pan add washed sweet potatoes with skin, little salt, enough water to cook and cover the pan with a lid.Boil and cook the sweet potatoes till soft. Switch off the flame and drain the boiled water completely and allow the boiled sweet potatoes to cool.

2). Once cooled peel and remove the outer skin of boiled sweet potatoes. Cut the boiled potatoes into thick round pieces.

Very tasty Boiled Sweet Potatoes are ready.
