Whole wheat masala pasta is a delicious and healthier dish for breakfast or dinner. Whole wheat masala pasta recipe is given below with step by step photos.The following ingredients are needed to prepare Whole Wheat Masala Pasta.
Ingredients:
Whole wheat pasta.-1 cup
Onion. -1big
Carrot. -1 small
Ginger garlic paste. -1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves. - few
Red chilli powder. -1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder. -1/4 tsp
Coriander powder. -1/2 tsp
Pepper powder. -1/4 tsp
Cumin powder. -1/4 tsp
Green chilly sauce. -1/4 tsp
Red chilli sauce. -1/2 tsp
Tomato sauce. -1 tsp
Garam masala. -1/2 tsp
Ghee. -1tsp
Salt. -to taste
Oil. -2 tbsp +1tsp
Instructions:
1). Finely chop onion, tomato, coriander leaves and grate carrot. Keep the chopped and grated ingredients on a plate.
2). Boil and Cook Whole Wheat Pasta
Take 1cup of whole wheat pasta.
In a vessel boil 4 cups of water on high flame. Add 1/2 tsp salt, 1tsp oil and 1cup of whole wheat pasta into the boiling water.
Cook the whole wheat pasta in boiling water without lid on medium flame till soft and tender and switch off the flame.
Strain the boiled and cooked whole wheat pasta in a colander. Rinse the boiled and cooked whole wheat pasta under cold running waterto cool and drain water completely from it. Apply little oil on boiled and cooked whole wheat pasta and keep aside.Method:
1). Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil in a pan. Add finely chopped onion and saute well till the onion becomes translucent. Add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste into the pan and saute well till the raw smell goes.
2). Add finely chopped tomato into the pan and saute well on low flame till the tamato becomes soft.
6). Add green chilly sauce, red chilly sauce and tomato sauce into the pan and mix well.
7). Add cooked pasta into the pan and mix well.
9). Add finely chopped celery or coriander leaves into the pan and mix well.
10). Lastly add 1tsp ghee into the pan and mix the masala pasta for 2 minutes on low flame and switch off the flame.
Very tasty Whole Wheat Masala Pasta is ready to serve. Transfer the whole wheat masala pasta to a serving plate.
