CARROT KARAMBI /Lemony Carrot Salad /Carrot Salad

Carrot Karambi is a popular and healthy side dish among Kochi GSB Community.
Carrot Karambi is a salad made with fresh Carrot.
Shreaded Carrot Salads are often used as a topping for other dishes.

No cooking is needed to this dish.
No Onion no Garlic is used in this dish.

This Carrot salad tastes very fresh and crunchy.


With few ingredients we can make this yummy Carrot Karambi.

Carrot Karambi is a good combination of Carrot, Green chillies and Lemon juice.This Salad is delicious and easy to make with Lemon  juice.

The following few ingredients are needed to prepare this Carrot Karambi.

Ingredients:-
Carrot.          -2 big
Green chilly. -3
Lemon .        -1
Salt.              - to taste

Instuctions:-
Wash, peel and grate 2 big Carrots with a grater.Keep aside.


Wash and chop 3Green chillies into very thin roundels.Keep aside.

Method:-
In a mixing bowl rub and smash the Green chilly thin roundels with little Salt thoroughly with your fingers.

Mix the grated Carrots with  Salt&Green chilly mixture.

Squeeze Lemon Juice from  Lemon to the mixture and combine every thing well.

After 1 minute mix again and serve.

A tasty Carrot Karambi is ready to serve as side dish with steamed Rice.
