A very healthy, tasty and delicious Sweet and Sour Salad made by using Pomogranate and Purple Cabbage. Pomogranate is rich in Vitamin C and has many health benefits.Raw Purple cabbage is an excellent source of Vitamin C and dietary fibre. Dietary fibre prevents excess cholesterol.
The following ingredients are needed to prepare Sweet and Sour Salad.
Ingredients:-
Pomogranate. -1
Purple Cabbage. - 1cup chopped
Onion. -2 medium size.
Green chilly. -1
Salt. -to taste
Lemon juice. - from 1/2 of a lemon.
Instructions:-
Chop Purple Cabbage lengthwise into small strip like pieces and keep aside.
Peel,wash and chop Onion lengthwise and keep aside.
Wash and finely chop Green chillies and keep aside.
Peel and open the Pomogranate and collect the juicy seeds and keep aside.
Method:-
In a mixing bowl add the finely chopped Green chilly, lengthwise chopped Onion and required Salt.Mash the above three ingredients thoroughly with hands.
Add Pomogranate juicy seeds into the mixing bowl and mix with all the other ingredients well.
Squeeze Lemon juice into the mixing bowl and toss all the ingredients with a spoon.
Transfer the Salad into to a serving plate.
