Ambya Thiksani Humman is a spicy raw mango curry goes well as a side dish for Dosa, Idli, Rice etc.The following ingredients are needed to prepare Ambya Thiksani Humman.
Ingredients:-
Raw Mango. -2 medium size
Salt. - to taste
For Seasoning:-
Coconut oil. -2tsp
Urad dal. -1tsp
Mustard seeds. -1tsp
Methi seeds. -1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder. -1tbsp[Kashmiri chilly powder]
Hing powder. -1tsp
Instructions:-

Coconut oil. -2tsp
Urad dal. -1tsp
Mustard seeds. -1tsp
Methi seeds. -1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder. -1tbsp[Kashmiri chilly powder]
Hing powder. -1tsp
Instructions:-
Wash and remove the skin of Raw mango and chop into big pieces and keep aside.
Method:-
In a small vessel add the chopped Raw mango pieces, required Salt and 2 cup of Water.Boil and cook till the Raw mango pieces become soft and switch off the flame.
Heat 1tsp oil in a pan for seasoning.Add Urad dal and saute well.
When Urad dal starts to change the colour, splutter Mustard seeds and Methi seeds and saute well.
Lower the flame and add Red chilly powder and Hing powder and stir well.
Pour the cooked Raw mango pieces with Water into the above seasoning and mix the Humman well and boil for a minute.Switch off the flame.
Lastly add 1tsp Coconut oil over the humman and mix well.
A tasty and mouth watering Ambya Thiksani Humman is ready to serve as a side dish with Dosa, Idli or Rice.
