DILL LEAVES STIR FRY / SHEPU BHAJI / SABSIGE SOPPU PALYA

Dill Leaves are called Shepu in Konkani, Sabasige Soppu in Kannada.Shepu Bhaji /Sabsige Soppu Palya is a tasty and healthy Dill leaves Stir fry served  hot with steamed Rice.Shepuchi Bhaji [Dill Leaves Stir fry] recipe is very simple and easy to prepare with few ingredients.

The following ingredients are needed to prepare Dill Leaves  Stir Fry / Shepuchi Bhaji / Sabsige Soppu Palya.

Ingredients:-

Dill Leaves.                          -2 large bunch[fresh]
Green chilly.                         -4
Mustard seeds                     -1tsp
Cooking oil.                         -1tsp

Salt.                                      -to taste


Instructions:-

1. Clean the fresh Dill leaves ,wash under running water and drain to a colander 





2. Chop and discard the thick stems and finely chop the Dill leaves.



3. Keep aside the finely chopped Dill Leaves.




4. Wash and slit Green chillies and keep aside.





Method:-

1. Heat cooking oil in a kadai on medium flame and splutter Mustard seeds and saute well.Add slit Green chillies and fry well in oil.






2. Add finely chopped Dill leaves and saute well.






3. Add required Salt and mix well.






4. Cover and cook till the water evaporates.






5. Stir well and when the water absorbs completely switch off the flame.









6. A tasty and healthy Dill leaves Stir fry is ready to serve hot with steamed Rice
