Karathe Chips (Bitter Gourd Fry)

The following ingredients are needed to prepare Bitter gourd Fry/ Karathe Chips.

Ingredients:-

Bitter gourd.    -2
Salt.                 -to taste
Chilly powder. -3/4tsp
Oil.                   -for deep frying


Instructions:-

Wash and chop Bitter gourd into thin round slices.

Apply Salt and keep aside the Bitter gourd slices for 15 minutes.

Squeeze the Bitter gourd slices and put them on a mixing bowl.

Sprinkle Chilly powder over the Bitter gourd slices and mix well.


Method:-

Heat oil in a pan for deep frying on medium flame.

Drop the Bitter gourd slices one by one into the hot oil and fry until crisp on all sides.

Remove the deep fried Bitter gourd slices from the hot oil and transfer to a plate.

A tasty and crispy Karathe Chips (Bitter gourd Fry) is ready to serve with Rice and Dal curry.
