Ridge Gourd Fritters.

The following ingredients are needed to prepare Ridge Gourd Fritters.

Ingredients:-

Ridge gourd.    -1
Chilly powder. - 1/2tsp
Rice flour.        - 2tbsp
Salt.                  - to taste.
Oil.                   - for deep frying.


Instructions:-

Wash, peel and chop the Ridge gourd into thin round pieces and keep aside in a mixing bowl.

Sprinkle little Salt on the Ridge gourd pieces and mix well. Keep aside for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle Chilly powder over the Ridge gourd pieces and mix well. Keep it aside for 10 minutes to rest.


Method:-

Heat oil in a pan for deep frying on medium flame.

In a bowl add Rice flour.

Coat each piece of Ridge gourd into the Rice flour evenly and all over.

Dust the excess Rice flour and drop the Ridge gourd pieces into the hot oil one by one for deep frying.

Flip and turn in between till it becomes crisp on all sides.

Remove the deep fried Ridge gourd pieces from the hot oil and transfer to a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.

Very tasty and crispy Ridge Gourd Fritters are ready to serve with Rice and Dal Curry.
