Soya
Chunks masala fry is a healthy and delicious side dish and can be
served with Chapathi, Phulkas, Bread, Paratha and also with Rice.
The following ingredients are needed to prepare Soya Chunks Masala Fry.
Ingredients:-
Soya chunks. -1cup
Onion. - 3
Tomato. - 3
Ginger Garlic paste. -1 and 1/2tsp
Red Chilly powder. -1tsp
Coriander powder. - 2tsp
Turmeric powder. -1/4tsp
Pepper powder. -1/4tsp
Garam masala powder. -1tsp
Curry leaves. -1spring
Salt. - to taste
Oil. - 2 tbsp
Instructions:-
1). In a cooking vessela add 2 cup of water, 1 cup Soya chunks, 1tsp Salt and boil for 10 minutes. Switch off the flame. Close the vessel and keep the Soya chunks in boiled water for another 10 minutes. Then squeeze the water from boiled Soya chunks. Wash the Soya chunks in fresh water 2/3 times and squeeze the water completely from Soya Chunks and keep aside.
2). Wash and finely chop Onion and keep aside.
3). Wash and chop Tomatoes into big pieces and keep aside.
Method:-
1). Heat oil in a pan and add finely chopped Onion and saute well till the Onion becomes translucent.
2). Add Ginger Garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell of the Garlic goes off.
3). Add Red chilly powder, Coriander Powder and Turmeric powder into the pan and mix well.
4). Add boiled and squeezed Soya chunks into the pan and saute well.
5). Mix the boiled Soya chunks with Onion and spice powders.
6). Add required Salt and mix well.
7). Add 3 tbsp of water and mix well. Boil and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
8). Add chopped Tomato pieces and mix well.
9). Add Pepper powder and mix well.
10). Add Garam Masala powder and mix well.
11). Add Curry leaves and mix well.
12). Cook on low flame till the Soya chunks absorbs the water completely.Saute in between and switch off the flame.
13). Transfer the Soya Chunks Masala Fry to a serving plate.
