Cabbage balls 65


Cabbage balls 65 is a delicious snack goes well as a side dish with chapathi, Paratha, naan, bread, rice etc.

The following ingredients are needed to prepare Cabbage balls 65.

Ingredients:-

Cabbage.                -1cup thinly chopped
Carrot.                    -1 grated
Maida.                     -2tbsp
Corn flour.               -2tbsp
Ginger Garlic paste.-1tsp
Pepper powder.        -1/2tsp
Coriander leaves.     - few
Water.                       - 2tbsp
Salt.                          - to taste
Onion.                       -1 finely chopped
Ginger.                     - 1tsp crushed
Garlic.                      -3 chopped
Green chillies.          -3 thinly chopped
Fennel seeds.            -1/2tsp
Curry leaves.            -1 spring
Tomato ketchup.       -2tbsp
Red chilly sauce.      -1tbsp
Vinegar.                     -1/2tsp
Salt.                            - to taste
Oil.                             -2tbsp + for deep frying

Instructions:-

1. Clean, wash and thinly chop Cabbage and keep aside.

2. Peel, wash and grate Carrot and keep aside.

3. Wash and chop few Coriander leaves and keep aside.

4. In a mixing bowl add Maida, Corn flour, Pepper powder, Ginger Garlic paste, required Salt, thinly chopped Cabbage, grated Carrot, chopped Coriander leaves and 2tbsp of
 Water.Mix well all the above ingredients together and shape into balls. Fry the Cabbage balls in hot oil until golden brown colour on all sides and keep aside.

Method:-

1. Heat 2tbsp oil in a pan and add crushed Ginger, chopped Garlic and chopped Green chillies. Saute well on medium flame until raw smell is gone.Add Fennal seeds and Curry leaves and saute well.

2. Add Onion and saute well for 3 minutes until translucent.

3. Add Tomato Ketchup, Red chilly Sauce, Vinegar, required Salt and saute well.

4. Now add the deep-fried Cabbage balls to this sauce and mix well till it coates on the Cabbage balls. Keep the flame high and saute well.

5.Add few chopped Coriander leaves and switch off the flame.

A very tasty and yummy Cabbage ball 65 is ready to serve hot.
