Crispy Gobi fry made with Cauliflower florets.The following ingredients are needed to prepare crispy Gobi fry.
Ingredients:-
Cauliflower (Gobi). - a small
Turmeric powder. - a pinch
Salt. - a pinch
Oil. - for deep frying
Raw Onion rings. - for garnishing
Ingredients:-

For batter:-
Maida. - 2tbsp
Rice flour. -1tbsp
Corn flour. - 2tbsp
Curd [Thick]. -3tbsp
Kashmiri Red chilly powder. -1tsp
Turmeric powder. - 1/4tsp or a pinch
Ginger Garlic paste. -1tsp
Garam masala powder. -1/2tsp
Garam masala powder. -1/2tsp
Salt. - to taste
Instructions:-
1. Clean a small Cauliflower and seperate the florets and wash well.
2. Add the Cauliflower florets in a vessel. Add little water, a pinch of Salt and a pinch of Turmeric powder in the vessel and boil. When the florets are half cooked and are firm, switch off the flame. Drain water completely and keep aside.
Instructions:-
1. Clean a small Cauliflower and seperate the florets and wash well.
2. Add the Cauliflower florets in a vessel. Add little water, a pinch of Salt and a pinch of Turmeric powder in the vessel and boil. When the florets are half cooked and are firm, switch off the flame. Drain water completely and keep aside.
3. In a mixing vessel add Maida, Rice flour, Corn flour, Kashmiri Red chilly powder, Turmeric powder, Garam Masala powder, Ginger Garlic paste, required Salt and thick Curd. Mix all the ingredients adding very little water and makes semi thick batter.
4. Add the half cooked Cauliflower florets into the batter and mix well till the florets nicely coated with the batter. Keep aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
5. Peel, wash and thinly slice Onion into round pieces and make raw Onion rings.Keep aside for garnishing
Method:-
1. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.Add the marinated Cauliflower florets into the hot oil and deep fry until crisp and golden brown colour.
2. Remove the deep fried Cauliflower florets (Gobi)from hot oil with a slotted spoon and transfer to a kitchen towel to absorb the excess oil.
3. Transfer deep fried crispy Gobi to a serving plate.
Method:-
1. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.Add the marinated Cauliflower florets into the hot oil and deep fry until crisp and golden brown colour.
2. Remove the deep fried Cauliflower florets (Gobi)from hot oil with a slotted spoon and transfer to a kitchen towel to absorb the excess oil.
3. Transfer deep fried crispy Gobi to a serving plate.
