Broccoli Potato Masala Curry.

 Broccoli potato masala curry is a delicious side dish goes well with chapati, phulka and rice.

The following ingredients are needed to prepare Broccoli Potato Masala Curry.

Ingredients:-

Broccoli.                   -1
Potato.                       -2
Onion.                       -1
Tomato.                     -2 medium
Green chilly.              -1
Curry leaves.              -1sprig
Cumin seeds.              -1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste.     -1tbsp
Red chilli powder.       -1tsp
Turmeric powder.        -1/4 tsp
Coriander powder.       -1 and 1/4tsp
Garam masala powder.-1tsp

Salt.                              -to taste
Cooking oil.                  -2 tbsp

Instructions:-

1). Clean and seperate the florets from broccoli, wash well and keep aside.

2). Remove the outer skin of potatoes, wash well and chop into medium cubed pieces. Boil the chopped potato pieces in sufficient water till soft and keep aside.

Method:-

1). Heat oil in a wide bottom pan and add cumin seeds and saute well. Add half slit green chillies and curry leaves into the pan and fry in oil for a second.Add thinly chopped onion slices and saute well till soft and light brown.Add ginger garlic paste into the pan and saute well until raw smell goes off. 

2). Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder into the pan and mix well.

3). Add finely chopped tomato and required salt into the pan.Saute well and cook tomato till soft. 

4). Add cleaned broccoli florets into the pan and mix well.Cover and cook for 2 minutes. Saute well in between. 

5). Add boiled potato pieces into the pan. Mix well and cook the masala curry for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame. Switch off the flame.Transfer the broccoli potato masala curry to a serving bowl.

Broccoli Potato Masala Curry is ready to serve.
