The following ingredients are needed to prepare Mushroom Pepper Fry.
Ingredients:-
Button mushroom.-1 packet
Black pepper corn.-1tbsp
Cumin seeds. -1tsp
Fennel seeds. -1tsp
Capsicum. -1
Onion. -1
Ginger chopped. -1tsp
Garlic. -8
Curry leaves. -1sprig
Mustard seeds. -1tsp
Salt. - to taste
Lemon juice. -1tbsp
Oil. -1tbsp
Instructions:-
1). Slice button mushrooms. Chop capsicum, onion, garlic and ginger into small pieces.Keep aside.
2).
Heat a pan and dry roast black pepper corn, cumin seeds and fennel
seeds on low flame. Once cooled grind the roasted ingredients together
to a coarse powder. Keep aside the ground pepper corn mixture.
Method:-
1).
Heat 1tbsp oil in a wide bottom pan and splutter mustard seeds.Add
chopped garlic and chopped ginger into the pan and saute well.
2). Add chopped onion and curry leaves into the pan and saute well till onion becomes translucent.
3). Add chopped capsicum into the pan and saute well for 2 minutes.
4). Add button mushroom slices into the pan and sprinkle little water.Saute well and cook until mushroom shrinks.
5). Add coarsely ground pepper corn mixture, required salt and lemon juice into the pan and mix well.
6). Roast the mushroom until all water from mushroom drains out. Switch off the flame.
A very taty Mushroom Pepper Fry is ready to serve.
