Broken Wheat Coconut Dosa.
Broken wheat coconut dosa is a very tasty and easy to prepare instant breakfast and can be served with coconut chutney or any side dish of your choice.
The following ingredients are needed to prepare Broken Wheat Coconut Dosa.
Ingredients:
Broken wheat. -1 cup
Rice rava / Idli rava.-1/4 cup
Grated coconut. -1 cup
Cumin seeds. -1tsp
Salt. - to taste
Oil. - for roasting dosa
Instructions:-
Wash and soak broken wheat in water for 1 hour. Drain water and grind the soaked broken wheat along with rice rava (idli rava), grated coconut, cumin seeds, required salt and 1/4 cup of water to a fine paste.
Method:
1). In a mixing bowl add the ground broken wheat rice rava coconut batter mixture. Add little water into the mixing bowl and mix the ground broken wheat batter mixture to make it a dosa batter consistency. No need to ferment the broken wheat coconut dosa batter.
2). Heat a flat dosa tawa on medium flame. Pour a ladle of broken wheat coconut dosa batter on hot tawa and spread it immediately and make a thin dosa.
3). Pour little oil on the sides of the dosa.oCover and cook broken wheat coconut dosa on medium flame for a minute.
4). Flip the broken wheat coconut dosa with a flat spatula to cook the other side. Once done remove the well roasted broken wheat coconut dosa from tawa and transfer to a serving plate .
5). Repeat the process and make thin broken wheat coconut dosa with the remaining dosa batter. You can keep the remaining broken wheat coconut dosa batter in the refrigerator for next day use.
Broken Wheat Coconut Dosa is ready to serve with coconut chutney or any side dish of your choice.
