Lablab beans is also known as Hyacinth beans.Lablab beans is called Vaisambal in Konkani.Tender Lablab beans is good for making Upkari.The recipe is simple,quick and easy to make with very few ingredients.
The following ingredients are needed to prepare this delicious Stir fry.
Ingredients:-
Vaisambal ( Lablab beans). -10
Green chillies. -3
Mustard seeds. -1tsp
Salt - to taste
Cooking oil. -1 tsp
Instructions:-
Wash and trim both the ends of the Lalab beans (Vaisambal)and chop horizontally into thin pieces and keep asid
Wash and half slit Green Chillies lengthwise and keep aside.
Method:-
Heat oil in a pan and splutter Mustard seeds and saute well.
Add half slit Green chillies and saute well and fry in oil for a second.
Add the chopped Flat beans slices and saute well.
Addreaquired Salt and mix well.
Do not add any drop of Water.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low flame till the Flat beans cooked soft and well. Saute in between.
Switch off the flame
A tasty yummy tender Flat beans stir fry/Vaisambal Upkari is ready to serve hot as a side dish with Rice.
