Besan Bhindi Fry


Lady's finger also known as Okra is called Bhindi. Besan Bhindi Fry is a delicious side dish  goes well with Rice.

Ingredients:-

Bhindi /Lady's Finger.   -15
Chick pea flour/ Besan.-3tsp
Turmeric powder.          -1/2tsp
Red chilly powder.         -1tsp
Amchur powder.            -1tsp
Coconut oil.                   -2tbsp



Instructions:-

Wash and chop Bhindi into 1 inch lengthy pieces and keep aside.

In a small mixing bowl add Besan flour,Turmeric powder, Red chilly powder, Amchur powder and required Salt.Mix all the ingredients together and keep aside the Spice Powder mixture.



Method:-

Heat Coconut oil in a pan on low flame and add the Spice Powder Mixture from the plate and saute well.

Immediately add the chopped Bhindi pieces and mix well. Sprinkle few drops of water and stir well.

Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes or till the Bhindis cooked completely. Stir in between. Switch off the flame.

A tasty Besan Bhindi Fry is ready to serve as a side dish with Rice.
