Tapioca Shallots Stir Fry


Tapioca Shallots Stir Fry is a very tasty and delicious stir fry made with tapioca and shallots goes well as a side dish for rice or as a breakfast with tea or coffee.

The following ingredients are needed to prepare Tapioca Shallots Stir Fry.

Ingredients:-

Tapioca.                -1/2kg
Turmeric Powder. - a pinch
Salt.                       - to taste

For grinding :-

Shallots.               - 8
Red chilly flakes. -1tbsp

For Seasoning:-

Coconut oil.    -2tbsp + 1tsp
Mustard seeds.-1tsp
Curry leaves.   -1 spring

Instructions:-

1. Remove the outer skin of the Tapioca and wash well in water. Chop the Tapioca into medium cubes and wash the Tapioca pieces in water and keep aside.

2. In a vessel add the chopped Tapioca pieces. Add required water, a pinch of Turmeric powder and a pinch of Salt. Boil till theTapioca pieces become soft and keep aside.

3. Peel and wash the Shallots and keep aside.

4. Grind the Shallots with Red chilly flakes to a coarse paste without adding water and keep aside.

Method:-

1. Heat Coconut oil in a pan and splutter Mustard seeds and saute well.Add Curry leaves and fry well.

2. Add the ground coarse mixture of Shallots Red chilly flakes into the pan.

3. Add the cooked Tapioca pieces into the pan.

4. Saute well on low flame till the ground Chilli flakes Shallot mixture nicely coated with the cooked Tapioca pieces.

5. When the water completely evaporates switch off the flame.

6. Transfer the Tapioca Shallots Stir fry to a serving bowl.

A tasty Tapioca Shallots Stir Fry is ready to serve hot.
